I want to give a warm heart-felt welcome to all of you who are visiting this new website.
In Soto Zen monasteries, a chant recited at meals begins, “Seventy-two labors brought us this food. We should know how it comes to us.” Seventy-two refers to the seventy-two individual jobs found in a monastery, ranging from cook to abbot, which enable the spiritual community to flourish.
The creation and flourishing of this website are also dependent upon the labors of many people. I would like to acknowledge and express my gratitude to all who make it a (virtual) reality. Without your help, I would not be able to do it.
Robin, who is my editor extraordinaire and the love of my life –
Mike, who hosts the website and provides vast amounts of technical guidance –
Alex, who created and designed the site –
The lineage of Dharma practitioners who have brought me these invaluable teachings and practices for liberating the heart –
And all of you, generous and curious visitors and friends, who have made it possible for me to offer the Dharma teachings and the healing of Somatic Experiencing® through your support.
Many thanks to all of you from the bottom of my heart! I look forward to our continued journeys together.
